Should my small business join the Claude Duet waitlist?
Anthropic opened a waitlist research preview of Claude Duet on 21 October. It is a separate app on iOS, Android and claude.ai. Claude sends a morning brief from your connected apps, checks them every few hours, and works on tasks in the background on its own virtual machine with a browser.
Anthropic says it was built for professionals and small business owners, carries over your Claude memory, skills and connectors, and asks for approval before it sends a message, makes a payment, signs a document or deletes anything.
The preview starts with US Pro and Max subscribers only, by waitlist, so for UK businesses it is a signal of where AI assistants are heading, not something to plan around yet.
My read: the approval step is the line that matters. You make the decisions, and the AI makes sure you don't miss a trick.
