Gemini 4 Argon lands in Antigravity for Google AI Pro subscribers

Google is rolling out Gemini 4 Argon, its model for long, multi-step work, to developers, businesses and paid Google AI Pro subscribers.

What it means for you

Deep, multi-step work just got cheaper to try. The model can only go as deep as the brief you give it.

What is Gemini 4 Argon and should marketers use it?

Google is rolling out Gemini 4 Argon around the world: to developers and businesses through the Gemini API, and to Google AI subscribers in Antigravity, the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search. Google built it for deep work on long, multi-step tasks in coding, finance, legal, cybersecurity and science.

If you pay for Google AI Pro, Argon is now in Antigravity with its own weekly allowance, separate from your everyday Gemini 3.8 Flash use. Hit the limit and you can switch back to Flash or pay for extra at standard API prices. It's in the Antigravity app and command line, not the Antigravity IDE.

Google says early-access businesses are already using it for deep research, pulling long documents together and analysing data over time. Their own engineers moved months of work into weeks. That's the kind of work marketing runs on: research, reports, campaign reviews and plans.

Here's the catch. A model built for depth goes as deep as the material you hand it. Give it a thin prompt and you get a long, confident, generic answer. Give it your brand, your customers and your past results and you get work you can actually use.

What the rest of the world is saying

Threads as of 16 October 2026. Summaries in our words.

Here's what the threads miss. When every message counts, a thin prompt wastes your allowance. Your B.R.A.I.N.™ hands Argon your brand, customers and results up front, so each deep task lands first time.

Try this this week

  • Pick one deep job you keep putting off, like a competitor review or a quarterly content report
  • Run it through Argon with only a short prompt, then again with your brand rules and customer notes attached
  • Compare the two and keep the rules that made the biggest difference
Copy and paste this prompt

Review what worked, what didn't and why, then give me three campaigns to run next month. For each one, say who it's for, the message and how we'll know it worked.
